Dumplings

Ingredients
- 1 c flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp melted butter
- 13 c milk
Directions
- Sift dry ingredients into a bowl
- Beat in the egg until it is well mixed
- Then add the milk and work it with a heavy spoon until smooth
- Drop by tablespoon into boiling broth or salted water
- Let boil with lid closed for 10 minutes
