Dutch Apple Bread

Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 c milk
- 2 tsp butter or shortening
Directions
- Sift flour Add baking powder salt and sugar Sift again Cut softened butter into dry ingredients as for pastry Add beaten eggs and milk Beat Spread in 8 x 12 pan greased Press apple slices over top and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon Bake at 400 for 25 to 30 minutes
