Dutch Apple Cake

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 34 c sugar
- 1 c chopped apples
- 12 c chopped pecans
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- Beat egg in mixer bowl until foamy
- Add sugar beat well Add apples pecans flour baking powder and vanilla mix well Pour into greased and floured 4 x 8-inch loaf pan
- Bake at 300 for 35 minutes
- Remove to wire rack to cool
- Serve warm with whipped cream
- Cake will rise to top of pan and fall leaving a crusty top
