Dutch Apple Pie In A Sack

Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
- 23 c sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 8 to 10 apples pared and sliced
- 6 Tbsp butter
- 12 c brown sugar
- salt
Directions
- Heat oven to 425
- Shake sugar spices flour and apples in a sack Arrange in a pie crust Combine butter brown sugar flour and a pinch of salt to make crumb topping
- Sprinkle on apple mixture Bake in a sealed oven roasting bag for 1 hour
