Dutch Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 2 lb stewing beef cut up
  • 14 c flour
  • 1 c hot water
  • 1 c stewed tomatoes
  • 12 onion chopped
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 1 c carrot chopped
  • 12 c celery chopped
  • 1 Tbsp salt

Directions

  1. Dredge beef in flour and brown in Dutch oven
  2. Add remaining ingredients and cook slowly on low heat for about 3 hours Thicken gravy if necessary
