Easiest Biscuits
Ingredients
- 14 c butter or margarine
- 1 14 c self-rising flour
- 2 tsp sugar
- 23 c buttermilk
Directions
- Heat oven to 450
- In a skillet melt butter in oven
- Remove pan from oven
- Measure flour and sugar into bowl
- Add buttermilk
- Stir just until dough forms about 30 strokes
- Turn dough onto well-floured cloth covered or waxed paper board Roll dough to coat with flour
- Knead lightly about 10 times Roll out less than 12 inch thick
- Cut with floured biscuit cutter
- Dip each in butter on both sides
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes
