Easter Eggs

Ingredients

  • 1 No 2 can crushed pineapple
  • 12 oz jar maraschino cherries
  • 1 lb chopped walnuts
  • 1 qt Marshmallow Creme
  • 1 slice butter 14-inch thick
  • 7 lb powdered sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • chocolate for coating

Directions

  1. Drain pineapple and cherries
  2. Cream together butter and Marshmallow Creme
  3. Add drained pineapple cherries and nuts
  4. Mix well
  5. Add sugar until thick and beginning to dry
  6. Turn onto well sugared board and knead in remaining sugar until very dry
  7. Shape into eggs and let stand 2 days to dry
  8. Dip into milk chocolate until eggs are covered
  9. Makes 48 eggs 14 pound each
