Easy As 1-2-3 Microwave Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 stick 4 oz butter or margarine
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 12 c unsweetened cocoa powder
- 23 c flour
- 1 c chopped pecans
- powdered sugar
Directions
- In a medium bowl beat together butter sugar eggs and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy 1 to 2 minutes
- Beat in cocoa
- Add flour and beat until well blended
- By hand stir in pecans
- Spread evenly in a wax paper-lined 8-inch square glass dish
- Cook in a microwave oven on High for 3 minutes Turn dish a quarter turn and cook 2 12 to 3 minutes longer
- Let cool
- Sift powdered sugar over top
- Cut into 16 or 25 squares
