Easy Baked Alaska

Ingredients

• 1 pkg dark chocolate fudge cake mix
• 1 qt neapolitan ice cream
• 1 pkg fluffy white frosting mix

Directions

1. Bake cake mix in 2 layer pans 8 x 1 12-inches as directed on package
2. Freeze one layer for future use Line 1 12-quart bowl with aluminum foil
3. Pack ice cream into bowl freeze until firm
4. Cover baking sheet with aluminum foil
5. Place cake layer on baking sheet
6. Invert bowl with ice cream onto cake remove bowl and foil
7. Freeze cake and ice cream until firm
8. Just before serving heat oven to 500
9. Prepare frosting mix as directed on package
10. Working quickly completely cover cake and ice cream with frosting carefully sealing it to foil on sheet
11. Bake 3 to 5 minutes or until light brown
12. Trim foil to edge of frosting transfer cake to service plate
13. Serve immediately
