Easy Date Sticks

Ingredients

• 1 7 oz roll slice n bake refrigerated sugar cookies
• 1 12 c chopped dates
• 13 c sugar
• 12 c water
• 1 tsp lemon juice

Directions

1. While cookie dough softens combine dates sugar and water Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens
2. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice
3. Set aside
