Easy French Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1 12 c lukewarm water not hot
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 4 c flour

Directions

  1. Soften yeast in lukewarm water
  2. Add salt sugar and flour Stir until mixed
  3. Add enough of 12 cup lukewarm water no more to make sticky dough
  4. Cover let rise until doubled
  5. Divide put each 12 into a greased two-quart casserole
  6. Let rise again until doubled
  7. Bake at 375 for one hour
  8. Brush tops with margarine salt if desired
