Easy Golden Layer Cake
Ingredients
- 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple
- 1 8 oz carton frozen whipped topping
- 1 small pkg instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 16 oz frozen pound cake thawed
- 13 c almond flavored liqueur
- 12 tsp almond extract
- 14 c sliced almonds toasted optional
Directions
- Combine undrained pineapple thawed whipped topping and pudding mix
- Let stand 5 minutes
- Cut cake lengthwise in thirds Drizzle with liqueur
- Spread 13 of pudding mixture over bottom layer of cake
- Top with second layer
- Repeat layering with pudding
- Chill 30 minutes
- Sprinkle with toasted sliced almonds
- Serves 12
