Easy Oven Swiss Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 lb round steak
  • 2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 medium onion sliced

Directions

  1. Flour and brown steak in hot oil on both sides
  2. Combine tomato sauce sugar vinegar and Worcestershire sauce and pour over meat in skillet
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste
  4. Simmer uncovered 5 minutes
  5. Add onion slices cover and bake 1 12 hours at 350 or until tender
