Easy Pralines

Ingredients

• 2 c sugar
• 1 c milk or cream use cream
• 2 Tbsp butter
• 12 tsp soda
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 c nuts

Directions

1. Mix the sugar milk butter and soda in saucepan
2. Cook to soft ball stage The soda turns the sugar to caramel taste and color as it cooks
3. Remove from stove
4. Cool a few minutes Add vanilla then beat
5. Before mixture begins to stiffen add nuts and spoon onto wax paper
