Easy Spaghetti Bake

Ingredients
- 1 7 oz or 12 1 lb pkg vermicelli thin spaghetti cooked as pkg directs and drained
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 12 c chopped onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 32 oz jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 4 oz can mushroom stems and pieces drained
- 1 tsp basil leaves
- 1 c 4 oz shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375
- In large skillet brown meat pour off fat
- Add onion cook and stir until tender
- Stir in remaining ingredients except spaghetti and cheese
- Simmer 10 minutes Stir in cooked spaghetti
- Turn into greased 2-quart shallow baking dish 12 x 7-inches
- Bake 20 minutes and top with cheese Bake 5 minutes longer
- Refrigerate leftovers
