Easy Truffles

Ingredients

  • 1 12 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese softened
  • 3 c confectioners sugar
  • 1 12 tsp vanilla
  • nuts ground or coconut flaked

Directions

  1. In microwave melt chocolate on High for 3 to 4 minutes or until almost melted
  2. Stir after each minute
  3. Remove from microwave and stir until completely melted
  4. Add cream cheese and beat until smooth
  5. Add sugar gradually and beat well
  6. Add chocolate and vanilla and blend thoroughly
  7. Refrigerate for about 1 hour one hour only
  8. Shape into 1-inch balls
  9. Roll into nuts or coconut
  10. Store in refrigerator
  11. Makes about 5 dozen
