Egg Pastry

Ingredients
- 3 c sifted plain flour
- 1 c Snowdrift
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 12 c ice water more if needed
Directions
- Sift together flour and salt
- Cut in shortening
- Beat egg slightly
- Add water and vinegar
- Add gradually to dry ingredients just enough to hold dough together
- Makes 3 to 4 pie crusts or a big pot of dumplings
- Good in freezer or can freeze and have ready to cook
