El Paso Burgers
Ingredients
- 1 c chopped onion
- 12 c chopped bell pepper
- 1 pkg taco seasoning mix
- 2 lb ground beef
- 12 c salsa
- 8 slices sharp cheese
Directions
- Place meat in a large bowl
- Add onion green pepper and taco mix
- Combine thoroughly
- Shape into 8 burgers
- Place onto a well-greased oven broiling pan
- Spread salsa on top
- Bake at 400 until done
- Place 1 slice of cheese on each burger and return to oven just long enough for it to melt
- Serve on bun
