Elephant Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 c butter or margarine softened
- 1 12 c brown sugar
- 3 c all-purpose flour
- 12 tsp baking soda
- 12 tsp salt
- 2 eggs beaten
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 c peanut butter
Directions
- Mix butter or margarine and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth and creamy
- Combine flour baking soda and salt in a medium bowl
- Mix well
- Add flour mixture eggs and vanilla to sugar mixture
- Mix well
- Add peanut butter
- Place by teaspoonfuls several inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet
- Flatten with fork
- Bake in a preheated 350 oven 12 to 15 minutes
- Makes 5 12 dozen
