Ingredients
- 2 pkg yeast
- 1 qt warm water
- 6 c white flour
- 3 tsp salt
- 2 12 c whole wheat flour
Directions
- Dissolve yeast and salt in warm water using a large mixing bowl
- Add whole wheat flour stir and add the 6 cups white flour Knead thoroughly right in the bowl
- Cover and let rise for 2 hours
- Make dough into 3 round flat loaves about 1-inch thick use a rolling pin
- Lay on a cloth to rise for 35 to 40 minutes Cover with a cloth
- Test dough by pressing lightly with finger If the impression stays it is ready to bake
- If not let dough rise a little longer
