Ingredients

• 5 c sugar
• 1 c white syrup
• 1 c water
• 3 egg whites
• 1 12 tsp vanilla
• 1 12 c pecans

Directions

1. Cook water sugar and syrup until it reaches soft boil stage Add 12 of the syrup mixture to stiffly beaten egg whites
2. Cook other half of syrup to crack stage when dropped into cold water Add this to egg whites beating all the time
3. Add vanilla and nuts
4. Stir with a large spoon until it loses its gloss
5. Pour into buttered pan
