EllyS Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 12 c Crisco
  • 3 c sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c milk
  • 2 Tbsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Cream margarine shortening and sugar until creamy
  2. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition
  3. Add flour and salt alternately with milk and vanilla
  4. Pour into greased and floured tube pan
  5. Bake in 325 oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes Do not preheat oven start in cold oven
