English Cheese Melts

Ingredients

  • 6 English muffins
  • 2 cans 225 oz each sliced or chopped olives
  • 1 12 c grated Cheddar cheese about 6 oz
  • 12 c thinly sliced green onions
  • 12 c mayonnaise
  • salt optional
  • parsley sprigs for garnish optional

Directions

  1. Cut English muffins in half
  2. Set aside
  3. In large bowl mix together olives cheese onions mayonnaise and salt
  4. Spread mixture evenly over 12 muffin halves
  5. Place on baking sheet Broil 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and melted
  6. Cut in half before serving
  7. Garnish with parsley sprigs
