English Muffin Loaf

Ingredients

• 1 pkg yeast
• 2 c flour
• 1 12 tsp sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 14 tsp soda
• 1 c milk
• 14 c water

Directions

1. Mix together yeast flour sugar salt and soda
2. Warm to 120 milk and water
3. Mix milk and water into the dry ingredients
4. Add enough of 1 cup flour to make a stiff batter
5. Grease a loaf pan and sprinkle with corn meal
6. Put dough into pan
7. Let rise to double in size
8. Bake at 400 for 15 to 25 minutes golden top
