English Muffin Loaves

Ingredients

• 5 12 to 6 c flour divided
• 2 pkg yeast
• 1 Tbsp sugar
• 2 tsp salt
• 14 tsp baking soda
• 2 c milk
• 12 c water
• cornmeal

Directions

1. In large bowl combine 3 cups flour yeast sugar salt and baking soda set aside
2. In medium saucepan combine milk and water and heat until very warm 115 to 120
3. Add to flour mixture gradually beating until batter is smooth
4. Gradually add the remaining flour
