Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 34 c sugar
  • 14 c milk
  • slight grating nutmeg
  • 4 apples
  • 1 12 c bread crumbs
  • pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Peel core and chop the apples finely add the bread crumbs sugar salt and nutmeg
  2. Beat the eggs well and use them with the milk to moisten the pudding
  3. Turn into greased mold cover closely and steam 2 hours
  4. Serve with a hot sweet sauce
