Famous Pretzels

Ingredients
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 1 12 c milk or water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 c margarine 12 stick
- 4 c flour
Directions
- Dissolve yeast in milk or water
- Add sugar salt margarine and flour
- Mix all ingredients with a wooden spoon
- Cover and let rise in warm place for 30 minutes
- Form pretzels brush with slightly beaten egg or a little egg white with a few drops of water
- Sprinkle with coarse salt and bake at 425 for 15 to 25 minutes until golden brown
