Fantastic French Bread

Ingredients
- 6 c warm water
- 4 Tbsp yeast
- 4 Tbsp sugar
- 6 tsp salt
- 6 Tbsp soft shortening
- 16 c flour
Directions
- Soften yeast in warm water
- Mix first 6 ingredients
- Knead for about 10 minutes every 10 minutes for an hour
- Press down dough
- Divide dough into 4 balls
- Let rest 10 minutes
- Make into rolls or loaves
- Let rise until double
- Bake at 375 for 20 minutes
