Festive Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients

• 1 c chopped sweet red pepper
• 1 small onion finely chopped
• 1 tbsp butter or margarine
• 1 can condensed cream of celery soup undiluted
• 12 c milk
• 1 tsp hot pepper sauce
• 2 pkg frozen french style green beans thawed and drained
• 1 c sliced water chestnuts drained
• 1 c shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

1. In a skillet saute the red pepper and onion in butter until tender
2. Add the soup milk worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce stir until smooth
3. Stir in the green beans and water chestnuts
4. Transfer to an ungreased 1 12 qt baking dish Sprinkle with cheese
5. Bake uncovered at 350 for 15 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted
