Ingredients

  • 14 c butter or margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 14 c whipping cream
  • 8 oz bacon cooked and cut up
  • 1 lb fettucini or linguine
  • 1 c Parmesan cheese
  • pepper
  • 14 c parsley

Directions

  1. Let butter or margarine eggs and cream stand at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours
  2. Cook bacon in skillet until browned
  3. Remove and drain on paper toweling
  4. Beat together eggs and cream just until blended
  5. Cook pasta until al dente tender about 15 minutes
  6. Drain thoroughly do not rinse
  7. Toss pasta with butter
  8. Pour egg mixture over and toss until pasta is well coated
  9. Add bacon cheese pepper and parsley toss to mix Serves 6
