Fig Cake

Ingredients

• 2 12 c all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp cloves
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 12 c sugar
• 1 c cooking oil
• 1 c buttermilk
• 3 eggs
• 1 c chopped fig preserves and juice
• 1 c chopped pecans

Directions

1. Mix all dry ingredients add cooking oil
2. Beat well
3. Add eggs one at a time alternate with milk then add figs and vanilla
4. Bake in tube pan for 1 hour at 350
