Fig Cake
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 2 c sugar
- 1 c Wesson oil
- 2 c flour
- 1 c buttermilk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 c drained chopped fig preserves
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
- Beat eggs
- Add sugar and whip until light and fluffy
- Add oil
- Stir baking soda into buttermilk
- Alternately add flour and buttermilk mixture into batter
- Add remaining ingredients
- Pour into a greased Bundt pan and bake at 350 for 60 minutes or until tests done
