Filled Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c shortening
• 1 c brown sugar
• 1 c white sugar
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 c sour or buttermilk
• 1 c ground and cooked raisins in 14 c water

Directions

1. Cream shortening add sugars and cream well
2. Add soda mixed with sour milk and flour to make a soft dough
3. Roll out and cut with round cookie cutter
4. Place on a cookie sheet and fill with raisin mixture
5. Top with another cookie that has been dipped in sugar
6. Bake at 375 until light brown
