  • 2 pkg active dry yeast or 2 cakes compressed yeast
  • 12 c water water
  • 34 c milk scalded
  • 13 c shortening or margarine
  • 14 c sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 c sifted flour
  • 24 cooked pitted prunes

Directions

  1. Soften the active dry yeast in warm water compressed yeast in lukewarm water
