Flat Bread
Ingredients
- 1 pkg dry yeast
- 1 12 c warm water
- 6 c flour
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp sesame seed
- 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
Directions
- Dissolve yeast in the warm water
- Stir in 5 cups of flour then stir in the rest little by little adding only enough to make a dough
- Turn out on floured board and knead until dough is smooth and elastic and doesnt stick to your hands
- Pat into a ball
- Pour 12 teaspoon of oil into palm of your hand and roll dough ball around until it is coated
- Put in bowl cover with towel and let rise until doubled 30 to 40 minutes
- Punch down and divide into two portions
- With your hands flatten out each portion to a plate-size round
- Brush rest of oil on top of rounds
- Sprinkle one with sesame seed and the other with Italian seasoning
- Put on baking sheets cover with bowls and let rise until doubled about 30 minutes
- Bake in preheated 400 oven for 20 to 30 minutes until golden on top
