Franks And Sauerkraut

Ingredients
- 1 1 lb 13 oz can sauerkraut
- 12 caraway seed
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 medium thinly sliced onion
- 2 Tbsp margarine
- 2 medium apples
- melted margarine
- brown sugar
- frankfurters
Directions
- Combine sauerkraut caraway seed 1 teaspoon brown sugar onion slices and margarine
- Place in shallow square baking dish
- Cut unpeeled apples into halves and remove cores
- Brush cut surfaces with margarine and sprinkle with brown sugar
- Arrange apple halves on the sauerkraut in a diagonal line across the center of the casserole
- Place 2 frankfurters on each side of the apple halves Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes
- Serve immediately
