Freezer Cole Slaw
Ingredients
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 head cabbage grated
- 1 c white vinegar
- 12 c water
- 2 c sugar
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 1 tsp mustard seed
- 3 stalks celery chopped
- 12 c bell pepper red or green chopped
Directions
- Sprinkle salt over cabbage and enough water to cover let stand 1 hour then drain
- Mix vinegar water sugar celery seed and mustard seed
- Bring to a boil for 1 minute
- Pour over cabbage
- Place celery and bell pepper in cabbage after water has been drained off
- Let cool then store in container and freeze
