French Onion SoupServes 4

Ingredients

• 4 medium onions
• 1 Tbsp butter
• 1 qt beef broth 1 qt boiling water and 1 bouillon cube
• 12 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 13 c brandy
• 1 c plain croutons
• grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

1. Thinly slice onions and brown in butter
2. Add broth Worcestershire sauce brandy and a dash of salt and pepper Simmer until onions are tender Serve into oven-safe bowls Sprinkle croutons on top of soup and cover with cheese
3. Place in oven at 550 until cheese is fully melted and slightly browned Serve hot
