French Pastry

Ingredients
- 3 c flour
- 1 14 c shortening
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 5 12 Tbsp cold water
- 1 tsp vinegar
Directions
- Sift and measure flour
- Add salt
- Cut in shortening until the size of peas
- Beat egg with water and vinegar
- Add to dry ingredients and mix
- Makes enough for 2 2 crust pies or 4 1 crust pies
