Ingredients

  • 3 c flour
  • 1 14 c shortening
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 5 12 Tbsp cold water
  • 1 tsp vinegar

Directions

  1. Sift and measure flour
  2. Add salt
  3. Cut in shortening until the size of peas
  4. Beat egg with water and vinegar
  5. Add to dry ingredients and mix
  6. Makes enough for 2 2 crust pies or 4 1 crust pies
