French Potato Gratin

Ingredients
- 10 medium potatoes 2 lb
- 1 12 tsp salt
- dash of pepper
- dash of grated nutmeg
- 2 cloves garlic pressed
- 1 12 c whipping cream
- 13 c milk
Directions
- Peel and slice potatoes thinly
- Lightly grease an ovenproof casserole
- Layer potato slices in casserole sprinkling each layer with salt pepper and nutmeg
- Press garlic over mixture Add cream and milk
- This all can be done ahead of time and chilled
