French Rolls
Ingredients
- 3 eggs beaten
- 3 c milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pkg dry yeast
- 12 lb butter melted
- 34 c sugar
- flour
Directions
- Cream butter sugar and salt
- Add beaten eggs
- Liquefy yeast in 1 teaspoon sugar
- Add to mixture
- Add milk and enough flour to make stiff smooth dough
- Let rise 5 hours
- Take off large chunk off dough roll thin on floured surface
- Cut into wedges spread with soft butter
- Roll from broad end to narrow end
- Place rolls on ungreased cookie sheet
- Let rise 3 to 4 hours
- Bake at 350 for 15 minutes
- Yields approximately 60 rolls
