French Silk Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 baked 9-inch pie shell
  • 12 c butter
  • 1 14 c powdered sugar
  • 1 12 sq unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  1. Cream butter and add sugar gradually creaming well
  2. Blend in melted and cooled chocolate then vanilla
  3. Add 1 egg at a time beating for 5 minutes after each addition
  4. Turn into pie shell Chill 1 to 2 hours
  5. May be topped with whipped cream and nuts if desired
