French Toast With Brandied Lemon Butter
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 12 tsp salt
- 14 tsp vanilla extract
- 12 slices bread French sliced and left out overnight to dry out
- powdered sugar optional
- 2 Tbsp plus 1 tsp sugar
- 1 c whole milk
- butter
Directions
- In a shallow dish beat eggs sugar salt milk and vanilla Soak bread in mixture
- Heat butter over medium-high heat and cook each slice until lightly browned on each side
- Serve with maple syrup or Brandied Lemon Butter and lemon slices
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar
- Serves 6
