Fresh Apple PieLarge Recipe

Ingredients
- 12 lb apples sliced tart
- 3 lb 4 oz sugar
- 4 oz flour
- 2 tsp nutmeg
- 8 oz butter or margarine melted
Directions
- Arrange apples in 8 deep pie pans that have been lined with pastry
- Mix the following and sprinkle over the apples sugar flour nutmeg and butter
- Cover with pastry
- Brush top with milk
- Bake approximately 15 minutes at 425 then 30 minutes at 350 or until apples are done

- 8 8-inch pies
