Fresh Apple Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 1 14 c cooking oil
- 2 c sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3 c all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 34 tsp cinnamon
- 1 c pecans chopped
- 3 medium apples peeled and chopped
- 14 c or so water if dough gets too thick for mixer
Directions
- Combine oil sugar and eggs beat at medium speed for 3 minutes
- Combine dry ingredients and add to mixture
- Fold in pecans and apples
- Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until cake is done
