Fresh Apple Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 3 c all-purpose flour spooned into cup
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 12 c corn oil
- 2 c sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 14 c chopped pecans
- 2 c pared apples finely chopped
Directions
- Sift together flour soda and salt
- Set aside
- In a large bowl beat oil sugar eggs and vanilla at medium speed for 3 or 4 minutes
- Gradually add flour mixture beat until smooth
- Fold in pecans and apples
- Pour batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan
- Bake in a preheated 325 oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until cake tests done
- Cool on a wire rack for 20 minutes Dribble with brown sugar topping while warm
