Fresh Apple Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 c all-purpose flour spooned into cup
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 12 c corn oil
  • 2 c sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 14 c chopped pecans
  • 2 c pared apples finely chopped

Directions

  1. Sift together flour soda and salt
  2. Set aside
  3. In a large bowl beat oil sugar eggs and vanilla at medium speed for 3 or 4 minutes
  4. Gradually add flour mixture beat until smooth
  5. Fold in pecans and apples
  6. Pour batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan
  7. Bake in a preheated 325 oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until cake tests done
  8. Cool on a wire rack for 20 minutes Dribble with brown sugar topping while warm
