Fresh Corn-On-The-Cob

Ingredients
- fresh ears corn
- salt
- lemon juice
Directions
- Remove husks from ears of corn brush off silks
- Drop in kettle of boiling water to cover adding 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon lemon juice to each quart of water
- Cover and cook 5 to 8 minutes or until milk is set and corn is tender
- Cooking time depends on maturity of corn
- Remove from water and serve with butter salt and ground black pepper
