Fresh Tomato Pizza
Ingredients
- 6 medium firm tomatoes sliced thin
- 1 13 to 16-inch baked pizza crust
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 2 14 oz sliced ripe olives drained optional
- 12 c diced green pepper
- 12 c diced onion
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp dried basil
- 14 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 c 4 oz shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c 4 oz shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
- Place tomato slices in a circle on crust overlapping slightly until crust is completely covered
- Drizzle with olive oil
- Cover with olives if desired green pepper and onion Sprinkle seasonings over all
- Cover with cheese
- Bake at 400 for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted
- Serve immediately Yields 8 servings
