Fried Cabbage
Ingredients
- cabbage
- salt and pepper
- 1 Tbsp lard
- 12 c cream
- 3 Tbsp cider vinegar
Directions
- Cut the cabbage very fine
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper Stir well and let stand for 5 minutes Drop lard onto a hot iron kettle then the cabbage stirring briskly until cabbage is quite tender
- Add cream and remove kettle from the fire
- Then stir in cider vinegar
