Fried Cabbage

Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage
- 1 Tbsp bacon grease
- 12 c hot water
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Directions
- Clean and shred cabbage in a large skillet
- Heat the bacon grease
- Add half of the cabbage salt and pepper
- Add rest of cabbage salt and pepper a little
- Pour the hot water over and simmer on medium until done and water is gone
