Fried Cabbage

Ingredients

  • cabbage
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp lard
  • 12 c cream
  • 3 Tbsp cider vinegar

Directions

  1. Cut the cabbage very fine
  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper Stir well and let stand for 5 minutes Drop lard onto a hot iron kettle then the cabbage stirring briskly until cabbage is quite tender
  3. Add cream and remove kettle from the fire
  4. Then stir in cider vinegar
