Frizzled Steak
Ingredients
- 1 lb round steak cut in 14-inch strips
- oil
- 1 lb onions sliced
- 13 c soy sauce
- water
- 1 to 2 c sliced celery
- cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 can mushrooms
Directions
- Cook steak in small amount of oil until slightly browned
- Add onions cook until transparent
- Add soy sauce sugar and 2 cups water
- Cook until meat is tender 1 12 to 2 hours adding water as necessary
- Add mushrooms and celery
- Cook for 15 minutes longer and thicken with desired amount of cornstarch mixed with water
- Serve on rice
