Frosted Toffee Bars
Ingredients
- 2 c uncooked oatmeal
- 12 c packed brown sugar
- 12 c margarine melted
- 12 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 14 c chopped peanuts
Directions
- In medium bowl combine oats sugar and margarine mix well Spread in greased 9-inch square pan
- Bake at 350 for 13 minutes or until light golden brown cool
- In small heavy saucepan over low heat melt chips
- Spread over oat mixture sprinkle with nuts
- Refrigerate until chocolate is set
- Cut into bars and store in tightly covered container in refrigerator
- Makes 2 dozen bars
