Frozen Pineapple Torte

Ingredients
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 egg whites
- dash of salt
- 12 c sugar
- 1 9 oz can crushed pineapple drained and saved
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 c heavy whipping cream
- 2 c Salerno vanilla wafer crumbs or more
Directions
- Beat egg yolks salt and 12 cup sugar
- Add pineapple syrup and lemon juice
- Cook in double boiler stirring constantly until thick
- Add pineapple
- Cool
